Experts recommend starting a business in the UK with a capital of £35k in order to have sufficient funds at the beginning of its operation.
This number may vary depending on whether you invest/take over an already established business in the UK and what you are going to start. This money will be used for the establishment of the company, its operation for a while, PERSONAL expense and legal and accounting transactions. However, the great depreciation of the Turkish Lira against the British Pound makes those who do not have sufficient capital think. Self-Sponsorship is a 100% legal way to allow them to come to the UK to manage the business they own or share, or the business they want to start, and is done under a Skilled Worker visa.
It can be taken for the person who will work in a branch of a company outside the UK or in a subsidiary to be established in the UK.
Visa applications are finalized within 3 weeks for applications from outside the UK, and within 8 weeks for applications from within the UK.
Application must be made at least 3 months before the planned arrival date in the UK; For example, an applicant wishing to be in the UK by 15 June must apply by 16 March at the latest.
Sole representatives can also bring their spouses and children to the UK as "dependants". At this point, the dependent spouse should not be the controlling partner of the company outside the UK.
With this visa, a 3-year residency is gained in the first place. After the end of this first 3-year period, a 2-year extension can be applied. When a total of 5 years is completed, an ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) / indefinite residence application can be made directly. When the 6th year is completed, the right to citizenship arises.
The application requirements for this visa type are as follows:
