Start-up Visa

It is suitable for applicants who wish to set up a business in the UK and who wish to serve as an owner of their own business.

The applicant for this visa is expected to bring an innovative idea to the industry.

The applicant can also apply for a dependant for his spouse/partner and their children.

It is very important to apply with a business plan approved by an endorsement body authorized by the Home Office.

 

To be approved, business plans must meet three conditions:

In this type of visa, the relevant endorsement body checks regularly; starting a business, starting a business, implementing the start-up idea, etc. It determines that the necessary conditions are not met at the points.

The validity of the start-up visa is 2 years. There is no extension for this type of visa. If you want to continue to stay in the UK, you can apply for the "innovator Visa", which is a top/follower visa type.

 

To do this;

1. Endorsement body's endorsement of a top/additional endorsement for the innovator visa,

2. The existence of a start-up business/company that was established and made sustainable in a two-year period,

3. The conditions for the active participation of the applicant in the job in question must be met.

 

The application process is generally; It takes 3 weeks for applications made from outside the UK, and 8 weeks for applications made from within the UK (visa type change).

Different types of fees to be made to official authorities during the application vary for each file.

 

The endorsement letter fee is a fee charged entirely by the endorsement body, within the knowledge and control of the Home Office, and may vary from institution to institution.

The start-up visa grants the applicant the right to work in other jobs in addition to the business/start-up to be established.

 

Basic personal requirements to apply for a start-up visa, other than an endorsement letter:

1. be over 18 years old,

2. Meeting the language requirement (B2 level of English is required according to CEFR)

3. Have sufficient personal savings
